Banbury Farm (formerly Northridge Farm) has earned a solid reputation for quality English riding instruction in a safe environment for over 25 years.

We use the "balanced seat" as the foundation of our instruction, both on the flat and over fences, to develop basic to advanced riding skills. We primarily cater to the once-a-week rider and focus on teaching the basics. Our more advanced riders do get some exposure to competition in hunter, jumper and dressage.

Our facility is open year round. Our indoor arena has excellent footing and is well lit. We also offer an outdoor sand arena and there is access to several nearby trails for pleasure hacking.

During the summer months we offer "Pony Play Weeks" - daycamps designed primarily for children with no experience - a wonderful introduction to the world of riding!

Lessons can be arranged privately or in small groups. Beginner riders are started privately on the longe line. This is the safest way for a novice rider to learn.

English riding lessons are available for students of all levels and ages, beginning at about 5 years old.
