Riding Lessons

We have been operating our very popular "Pony Play Week" daycamps for over 20 years. Pony Play weeks are an excellent introduction to horses and riding.

The children learn to be comfortable around horses and begin developing riding skills and learn about the care of horses in a safe and happy environment.

As well as a riding lesson each day, the children learn grooming, basic horse care and anatomy, feeding and supplements, how to muck stalls, and clean tack.

Our daycamps cater to children from 5 to 11 and are designed primarily for those with no riding experience. However, we are often able to customize the program to suit children with some previous experience.

Safety of both the children and the horses is our prime concern. Daycamp groups consist of no more than 6-8 children and there are usually 2-4 helpers in addition to the instructors.
